Norfolk and Suffolk Police

Tascor provide secure and controlled access, as well as a range of maintenance and integrated FM services to six Police Investigation Centres under a joint contract involving Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies.

The six sites are secure detention and investigation units. Each site has a police investigation unit and across the sites there are 146 cells, which handle some 34,000 detentions per annum.

To provide the level of security and safeguarding that the joint force areas require Tascor operate and maintain an integrated access control and security system incorporating CCTV, access control, panic alarm and Life Signs Monitoring technologies; this system has the capable of controlling all aspects of each facilities security systems from a single desk position.

As well as security at the site Tascor ensure that the sites remain fully operational every day of the year by providing a full planned and reactive maintenance schedule for all of the services at the site.

The plant and fabric of the buildings is maintained under the PFI agreement through a comprehensive, lifetime asset management programme.
